Responsibilities and Duties
- Calculate and report taxes (Income Tax, VAT, Withholding Tax, etc.) in accordance with Cambodian tax laws.
- Prepare and submit monthly and annual tax returns (TOI) accurately and on time.
- Ensure timely payment of all tax obligations.
- Maintain and organize tax documentation, including invoices, receipts, and reports.
- Monitor changes in tax regulations and provide guidance to internal teams.
- Liaise with tax authorities and respond to inquiries or audits.
- Support internal and external audits related to taxation.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate tax reporting.
- Recommend improvements to tax processes and systems.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in taxation, preferably in a manufacturing or multinational company.
- Strong understanding of Cambodian tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting and tax software; experience with ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluent in English, Korean is an advantage
