The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations, including production planning, materials management, purchasing, inventory control, export logistics, packaging, and invoicing processes. The role ensures timely availability of materials, efficient procurement, cost-effective operations, regulatory compliance, and on-time delivery of customer orders while supporting business growth and operational excellence.
Planning & Production Coordination
- Lead and supervise production planning activities to ensure alignment with customer demand and business objectives.
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and manufacturing capacity.
- Monitor production progress and coordinate with manufacturing teams to address material shortages or scheduling issues
- Analyze demand trends and adjust plans to optimize resource utilization and delivery performance.
- Ensure effective communication across departments regarding production priorities and changes.
- Oversee and strengthen POLCA rules and QRM methodologies to improve delivery performance, reduce customer lead times and work-in-progress inventories.
Materials Management & Inventory Control
- Oversee material requirements planning (MRP) to ensure uninterrupted production operations.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
- Establish inventory control processes to minimize stock shortages, excess inventory, and obsolete stock.
- Conduct regular inventory reviews and cycle counts to ensure data accuracy.
- Implement strategies to improve inventory turnover and reduce carrying costs.
Purchasing & Supplier Management
- Manage procurement activities for raw materials, production tools and supplies, packaging materials, equipment, and services.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing, quality, and delivery performance.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliable supply.
- Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and budget requirements.
Export Operations Management
- Oversee all export processes to ensure timely and compliant shipment of products.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, logistics providers, and customers.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations, trade requirements, and customer specifications.
- Monitor shipping schedules and resolve logistics issues that may impact deliveries.
- Maintain accurate export documentation and shipment records.
Packaging & Invoicing Management
- Ensure packaging materials and finished products meet customer, regulatory, and transportation requirements.
- Coordinate packaging planning and optimization to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Review and verify export documentation, including packing lists and shipping records.
- Ensure accurate preparation and processing of commercial invoices and related export documents.
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure billing accuracy and timely documentation.
Process Improvement & Compliance
- Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency, service levels, and cost management.
- Develop and implement supply chain KPIs and performance monitoring systems.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management functions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO standards, customs regulations, and applicable legal requirements.
- Support audits and maintain relevant supply chain documentation.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop the planning, procurement, materials, and logistics teams.
- Set departmental goals and performance expectations.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance reviews and identify training and development needs.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or operations management.
- At least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Experience managing export operations and international shipments preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of supply chain planning, inventory management, purchasing, and logistics.
- Understanding of import/export procedures and international trade documentation.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications.

- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
