The ideal candidate is a design-forward thinker with a strong understanding of consumer trends, aesthetics, and lifestyle branding, capable of transforming ideas into compelling, high-quality retail products that enhance the Starbucks experience.

• Support the end-to-end development of merchandise collections, including drinkware, serveware, lifestyle goods, and retail accessories
• Translate seasonal campaigns and brand storytelling into cohesive product assortments
• Collaborate with designers, agencies, and global teams to refine concepts and visual direction
• Contribute to balancing trend-forward design with commercial viability and customer appeal
• Manage development timelines from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with quality, cost, and schedule targets
• Partner with Marketing, Retail, Supply Chain, and Global Product teams to support successful product launches
• Support visual merchandising and in-store storytelling to enhance product visibility and customer engagement
• Monitor product performance and support improvements and iterations for future collections
• Contribute to building a pipeline of innovation for seasonal and core product ranges
• Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer behavior to identify opportunities

• Bachelor’s degree in design & fine art, Industrial Design, Fashion, Marketing, or related field
• 2–3 years of experience in product development, merchandising, marketing communications, or retail design
• Experience in developing merchandise collections or retail product lines is a plus
• Strong sense of aesthetics, including color, materials, and form
• Good awareness of global design, fashion, and lifestyle trends
• Sensitivity to local cultural nuances and consumer preferences
• Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
• Effective collaboration and communication skills across local and global teams
