To control and maintain Laboratory quality management system to comply with ISO/IEC 17025, customer’s SOPs, and other quality systems and to acquire the ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation and customer approval.

• To assure that all laboratory personnel responsible for testing activities familiarize themselves with the ISO/IEC 17025 management system and corporate procedure and implements their work in accordance with the documented policy and procedures of the quality management system.
• To maintain quality management system, documentation and Implementation comply with, ISO/IEC 17025 and other quality system.
• To co-ordinate with Quality Assurance Manager for Laboratory accreditation
• To co-ordinate with Quality Assurance Manager in acquiring the ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation as planned.
• To co-ordinate with Quality Assurance Manager to manage the external audit by customers and government competent authorities.
• To perform internal audit both horizontal and vertical type in order that the effective implementation of the management system and technical aspect are maintained by each laboratory sections.
• To assist Responsible Manager/Responsible Supervisor in handling Nonconforming testing work from Customer Complaint.
• To monitor and follow up the effectiveness of corrective action proposed by Laboratory.
• To provide the suggestion to Laboratory in order to improve the laboratory practice.
• To provide specific in-house training relating to quality assurance / quality control to laboratory staff.
• To handle for proficiency testing program (round robin test / inter-laboratory comparison) on registration, follow up to submit results.
• To co-ordinate with Laboratory and subcontractor to ensure that the calibration schedule are appropriate and no overdue.
• To manage the evaluation of subcontracted laboratory to ensure its competence to meet Laboratory quality system requirement.
• Comply with QHSE (Quality, Safety, Health and Environment) policies and Code of Integrity.
• Comply with the laboratory quality policy and quality management system.
• Other duties assigned by superior.
• Quality Assurance Manager is deputy when above position is absent
