The incumbent will collaborate closely with the Business Intelligence as a key advisor. This role involves managing and integrating diverse data sources—such as commercial data, consumer insights, pricing studies, economics, tax, and regulatory information—into forecasting models. The objective is to support management in driving company's profitability and ensuring long-term business sustainability.
- Develop and implement advanced analytics and forecasting models, leveraging consumer and customer data to inform marketing strategies and business decisions
- Optimize models for efficiency, scalability, and accuracy, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Identify and evaluate diverse data sources and technologies to enhance modelling capabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data modelling aligns with business objectives, including pricing and taxation strategies
- Take ownership of research projects, ensuring methodologies are robust and actionable
- Translate business questions into research surveys with appropriate methodologies and sampling.
- Demonstrate expertise in market research tools, techniques, analysis, problem-solving, and strategic planning.
- Ensure adherence to compliance standards by research agencies.Present actionable insights and summaries for Marketing and Sales teams
- Deliver reports, dashboards, and strategic market information with business implications and recommendations to support decision-making
- Work effectively with individuals at all organizational levels across various cultural and technical backgrounds to achieve high-quality business outcomes within tight deadlines
- Foster a learning environment within Marketing and Sales by sharing industry, competitor, consumer, and retail trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Mathematics, or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in business analytics, preferably within the tobacco industry and market research, or exposure to both research agencies and client-side environments
- Proven experience in leading research projects with multiple agencies for over 5 years
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with analysis software is a plus
- Strong analytical, forecasting, reporting, and commercial planning abilities
- Expertise in data analysis/modelling tools and software
- Knowledge in Consumer and Trade Marketing research (Qualitative and Quantitative)
