To review all internal processes, systems and policies and make recommendations to ensure reasonable assurance and compliance with applicable laws and regulations, assist in achieving management’s objectives and determine whether controls are well designed and properly operated. 

• Plan, organize and carry out the internal control reviews of all departments
• Evaluate compliance with internal policies and procedures
• Evaluate regulatory compliance program and associated risk exposures
• Review existing internal and financial controls to ensure they are designed and operated effectively
• Report internal control deficiencies and risk management issues directly to the CEO, Audit Committee and Company Board
• Propose recommendations to rectify the identified findings, promote sound financial and risk management and enhance the business operations
• Work collaboratively with the business and process owners to ensure that all corrective and preventive actions are timely resolved
• Enhance and maintain policy and procedure of internal control function
• Other duties as assigned by Line Manager

• University Degree in Finance/Accounting or Economics
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar position, Finance/Accounting or Auditing, preferably in Insurance industry
• Experience in writing internal policies and procedures
• A demonstrated knowledge of internal control framework
• Strong analytical skills with ability to examine and interpret information and propose recommendations to address control deficiencies
• Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to present risk matters and control deficiencies in an understandable way to other stakeholders
• Ability to work well independently
• Capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
