We are looking for the right individual who is passionate about finding flaw in software product, understand user experience, and pay attention to detail. The position will be responsible to involve in project with other development team, preparing the test plan and to make sure the software product is delivered in high quality standard.
- Provide technical support for applications that serve the Manulife Cambodia
- Maintain and monitor the operation and integrity of production systems.
- Client management including pro-active communications, responsive follow through, and advocacy for client issues within internal departments.
- Prioritize numerous issues of varying severity, and effectively manage the resolution of all issues within accepted service levels.
- Participate in the Incident Management and Problem Management processes. Perform root cause analysis, resolution and reporting.
- Collaborate extensively with peers, Business Analysts, infrastructure teams and other business units to resolve issues while actively contributing to a growing knowledge network that improves the effectiveness of our team and the information available to our clients.
- Support the release management process, ensuring that all production changes and releases of in-house and third-party applications are processed according to Change Management policies and procedures.
- Act as a technical liaison with regional and global. Validate, implement and work with relevant teams as needed.
- Support P2G such server patching, SSH expiration.
- Knowledge about infrastructure
- Ability to work off shift hours, nighttime, Saturday and Sunday.
- 2 years of work experience related to application production support or a similar field
- Candidates must have a strong technical background, ITIL skills, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
- Good verbal and written communication; able to effectively articulate data definitions in written English
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Technical skills in Java, SQL, UNIX, and scripting languages
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
- SQL, Query, Rest API, Postgres (EDB)
- Unix Shell scripting, Servlets, JSP, Security
- Experience with web applications such as IIS / Apache; File Transfer Protocols – FTP, SFTP, HTTP
- Common Linux and Windows administration skills
- Understanding of the insurance and/or financial industry is an asset
