Missions

Khmer to French is priority

Khmer to English is a must

He / she will need to collaborate first with the pedagogy department and then with multiple teams and build an in-depth, specialist understanding of all aspects of HCS.

As the school’s main translator, he/she must be able to handle a large volume of varied content (HR handbook…).

He / She could be asked to provide occasional interpretation assistance. 

 Pedagogy Department

• Two critical periods for 12 levels, each with 4 classes:
• 1st trimester from January to February, need 2 months for doing the translation of all the school student reports
• 2nd trimester from August to September, the same as the first.
•  Attend the class council when it is needed or contribute to the requests focused on translation.

Other Departments

• Translate in Khmer or in French/ English is a must the subtitles documentaries / promotional videos
• Internal policies and procedures / Handbook /Memos/ letters
• Required documentation for Paris 

• Certificate in Translation/Interpretation Studies required, Bachelors degree preferred, Professional translation experience
• Experience : at least 3 years
• Fluency in Khmer, French and English (solid grammar skills)
• Good ICT skills and knows how to use applications, IA…
