Position level: Associate

Report to: Production Manager

Pay scale: $US 300 - $US 800

Work and grow through new and illuminating duties of absolute importance to the company.

• Translate different types of documents, from administrative, general, educational, commercial, technical, and legal, from English or French into Khmer and vice versa
• Record and compile all terms – new and technical – into an internal glossary for future ease of use and consistency of each project
• Follow and manage work schedule to ensure punctual processing and delivery of translations either independently or as a team
• Ensure accurate interpreting with serious attention to all important details in the source language into the target language.

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in English or French, or equivalent
• Have from one-year experience in translating and interpreting (a plus)
• Have excellent typing skills in both English and Khmer
• Have problem-solving mindset, and keen on doing research to overcome challenges
• Be patient and able to deliver uncompromisingly under occasional tight deadlines
• Be honest and transparent about one’s errors and accept changes
• Be able to respond positively and adapt appropriately to feedback and suggestions
