Job Summary
- Responsible of the good execution of Account Receivable activities
- Ensure invoices are issued on time, and prepare related Accounts Receivables reporting and reconciliation.
- Act as back-up to Account Payable and HR Support.
- A hands-on position that plays the key role of delivering seamless administration support to the local organization, which includes:
- managing office administrative budget, office procurement and maintenance matters, documentation, office insurance and travel administration with aim to achieve maximum work productivity and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Serve to walk-in customer & vendors at counter area
- Answering and screening of phone calls
- Invoice issuance to customers
- Customers dunning to avoid overdue AR invoices
- Follow-up of DSO
- Collection of bank-in-slip from customers;
- Posting of receipts;
- Liaising with customers on payment issues;
- AR statement of account reconciliation;
- Support General accountant for Bank Reconciliation preparation
- Support Import Team and AP team on Container Deposit refunds to customers
- Backup for AP & General Accountant;
- Maintain the paper archiving
Qualifications and Skills
- Good knowledge in accounting and general administration
- Prefer candidate with experience in shipping industry.
- Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook;
- Good communication in English, both written and verbal;
- Good teamwork
- Ability to interact positively and professionally at all levels with high integrity in managing information;
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task;
- Meticulous with strong attention to detail;
- Minimum Diploma in Business Administration or any other related discipline;
- At least 2 years of working experience in the related field;
- Knowledgeable in common Admin practices;
- Preferably knowledgeable in SAP accounting system
