
Job Title: Production Accounting Manager

The Production Accounting Manager is responsible for leading production accounting, product costing, inventory accounting, and related financial controls across Artisans Angkor’s production operations and inventory locations. The role ensures that raw materials, work in progress (WIP), finished goods, production consumption, cost of goods sold (COGS), and manufacturing cost variances are accurately recorded, reconciled, analyzed, and reported in SAP Business One. The position works closely with Production, Stock Center/Warehouse, Procurement, Commercial, and Finance teams to strengthen cost visibility, inventory integrity, month-end closing, audit readiness, and management decision-making.

Key Performance Expectations
Education:
Master or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification or relevant advanced study is an advantage.
Experience:
Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role. Strong experience in manufacturing, production costing, inventory accounting, or a similar environment is preferred.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of cost accounting, including standard costing, WIP and inventory valuation, COGS, variance analysis, month-end closing, reconciliations, and internal controls. Practical knowledge of financial reporting standards applicable to inventory and production costs is required.
Systems:
Strong working knowledge of SAP Business One or a comparable ERP system, together with advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience improving ERP-based costing and inventory controls is an advantage.
Management & Communication:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, supervisory, and cross-functional coordination skills. Able to challenge unusual transactions professionally, communicate findings clearly, and drive corrective actions to completion.
Languages:
Good working proficiency in Khmer and English, both written and spoken, is preferred.
Probation Period & Review
This position includes a 90-day probation period, during which performance, technical capability, leadership, and progress against agreed priorities will be reviewed.
