Job Summary

Manages product development operation for the allocated projects in accordance of REEF policy under supervision of the assigned Manager, Development.
Collaborates with the US teams, other LO teams and factories/suppliers to ensure that the assigned products are developed to performance, quality, costs and time targets.
Paperwork management.

Responsibilities and Duties

Manages product development of projects covering sample tracking from Pullover, the Initial Sample Round, the Second Sample Round, SMS, CFM sample and Production Standard.
Products are developed in accordance with design and technical requirements while maintaining an emphasis on performance, quality and integrity.
Products are developed to target price. Options & alternatives are continuously offered during the development stages.
Product engineering is executed with focus on productivity and manufacturing efficiency.
Prepare fully developed and tested product on time for US PD. Handover approved sample size fitting sample (T1 sample) to China commercialization team, while maintaining engaged in the commercialization process till final stage of production trial.
Engages in frequent visit to production line with focus on product quality, process improvement and collective learning.
Manage any product transfer that falls within the development timeline.
Ensures all development timelines are met in full with goal of on time product launch.
Maintain communication at highest level to all relevant parties.
Support BOM’s team and material costing team to maintain PLM system.
Manages paperwork such as tracking report update, Weekly Factory Priority List update, Test reports both Physical test and RSL test report collection and spec change form updates.
Covers the teamwork when it’s needed.

Qualifications and Skills

Strong footwear technical knowledge of product construction and development process.
Good understanding of footwear components and material sampling lead time.
Good Project Management knowledge and skill.
Good at using Office software and PLM systems.
Fluent in English (Reading, Writing and Speaking) and Chinese.
Can work independently most of the time.
