PURPOSE AND SCOPE
- Business Development Manager with responsibilities for driving commercial growth and market expansion of FM business in Cambodia.
What to do
Focus on local commercial strategies to drive revenue/gross profit and market share growth in Cambodia for all key product lines (Sea, Air, Trucking, Brokerage).
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with local direct customers/shippers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with Global Freight Forwarders that do not have an office in Cambodia and operate through local partners.
- Develop overseas agent business via WCA and other networks: build the pipelines, approach potential partners, and convert opportunities into new business.
- Work on pricing strategies, quotations, and tenders with customers, ensuring profitability while maintaining competitive pricing in the Cambodian market.
- Explore market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to adjust commercial strategies accordingly and grasp business opportunities.
- Regular update sales performance, pipelines, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Engaged with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and branding initiatives in the local market.
- Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet customer expectations.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, overseas agents, and partners to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments (OPS, CS, Financeā¦) to ensure service delivery aligns with customer requirements and aid company expansion.
- Ensure all commercial activities and pipelines are accurately documented and reported according to company standards.
- Comply with all local regulations regarding business development and logistics commercial practices.
- Analyze commercial data to optimize sales processes and improve efficiency.
Others:
- Ensure deep understanding of the market, customers, and business trends to grasp opportunities.
- Conduct business with the highest level of integrity and compliance.
- To achieve the annual targets of the company.
- Ensure to support other departments to expand and develop the company's position in the Cambodia market.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
Working Condition:
- Monday to Friday + Saturday (half day)
- Working time: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM ; lunch Break 12:00PM-1:30PM
- Holiday, and other working condition : Follow Cambodia Labor Law

- Bachelor degree in Business, Logistics, or related field above.
- Fluent in English and Khmer is a must.
- Related certificates in logistics & supply chain is advantageous.
- Minimum of 4-5 years experience in Business Development in freight forwarding companies in Cambodia.
- Possess a strong client portfolio/pipeline.
- Have extensive network interaction with customers and partners overseas.
