This role reports to the Marketing Manager. The section is responsible for leading all initiatives related to understanding market dynamics and the competitive landscape to drive product development and pricing strategies.
Market Research & Consumer Insights:
- Lead the design and execution of deep-dive market research and customer segmentation studies.
- Analyze complex market and customer trends.
- Proactively identify and validate new market opportunities, customer needs, and market gaps.
Product Development Proposals:
- Gather, synthesize, and prioritize new product development (NPD) ideas from across the business.
- Conduct comprehensive market demand and detailed competitor analysis for all potential NPDs.
- Develop and present compelling business cases and NPD proposals to HQ for approval.
Pricing & Product Codes:
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance and Customer Service (CS) teams to develop and manage a data-driven pricing strategy.
- Oversee the management of product codes to ensure responsiveness to sales team requests and market needs.
Lead Generation & Omni-Channel Strategy:
- Develop comprehensive, insight-driven marketing strategies to generate high-quality leads.
- Orchestrate and optimize lead generation campaigns across all offline and online channels.
Data Analysis & Consumer Feedback:
- Oversee the analysis of data from all marketing campaigns and consumer interactions.
- Transform data into actionable, strategic insights for the Growth and Branding teams.
Competitive Intelligence & Benchmarking:
- Lead continuous monitoring and analysis of competitors’ New Product Development (NPD) activity.
- Formulate competitive intelligence strategies to keep the business ahead of the market
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in market research, product marketing, or strategic planning from FMCG or construction building materials, and paint manufacturing is a plus.
- Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Proficient in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Experience with product lifecycle management.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced user of market analysis and data visualization tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Power BI, Tableau).
