The Auto Loan Product Manager will lead the development and management of the auto loan portfolio, driving portfolio growth and profitability while maintaining sound credit quality and compliance. This role requires expertise in vehicle asset valuation, loan structuring, and portfolio risk management, supporting the company’s strategy to diversify its product offerings and capture Cambodia’s growing auto loan demand.

Auto Loan Product Design & Portfolio Management:

• Design, implement, and manage competitive auto loan products.
• Structure loan terms, collateral requirements, LTV, pricing, and repayment schedules to ensure product competitiveness and financial sustainability.
• Engage with auto dealerships, insurance partners, and vehicle tracking service providers to build strategic ecosystems supporting the auto loan business.
• Monitor portfolio performance, including PAR ratios, repayment trends, and collateral coverage, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
• Develop and update loan product guidelines, credit policies, and standard operating procedures for auto lending.
• Develop promotional campaigns and sales tools to boost product uptake.
• Regularly conduct competitor analysis and market studies to identify trends and opportunities.

Collateral Evaluation & Legal Compliance:

• Oversee the evaluation, verification, and registration of vehicle collateral in accordance with Cambodia’s vehicle registration and legal frameworks.
• Liaise with relevant government agencies, including the Ministry of Public Works and Transport for registration, title searches, and lien enforcement.
• Ensure all collateral documentation is complete, legally compliant, and properly safeguarded throughout the loan lifecycle.
• Manage vehicle repossession, disposal, and recovery processes in line with regulatory requirements and internal policy.

Digital Origination & Operational Excellence:

• Collaborate with the Digital and IT teams to enhance automation in credit scoring, document verification, and disbursement workflows.
• Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks to improve loan processing turnaround time and customer experience.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Collaborate with branch managers and sales officers to build capacity in vehicle financing appraisal and risk assessment.
• Prepare management reports

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification in Credit Risk Management or Asset Finance is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in vehicle and asset valuation techniques, including market comparison, depreciation models, and collateral risk assessment.
• Proficiency in credit scoring tools and portfolio management platforms.
• Strong understanding of Cambodia’s vehicle registration system, ownership transfer procedures, and asset seizure regulations.

Professional Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in vehicle or asset financing within a bank, MFI, or consumer finance institution.
• Demonstrated track record of managing auto loan portfolios.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
