Job Summary

Applications are sought from customer – orientated and motivated individuals who would like a career with CROWN Beverage Cans Maker, one of the world’s packaging leaders. Part of CROWN Asia operations, we are the manufacturing plant producing aluminum beverage cans and ends in Cambodia.

We are looking for candidates of higher caliber to join us and to build a local team that will provide world-class products and service to our international customer base. Qualified candidates (Cambodians) are invited to apply for the position of Customer Technical Services (CTS) Specialist.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • The CTS Specialist will be responsible for effective provision of technical advice and services to Customers and/or internal plant
  • personnel:
  • Ensure service support is provided on Technical Service to Customers when needed, especially for finished product trials and qualifications.
  • Provide technical recommendations and training to customers regarding quality standards and product specifications.
  • Provide technical service and advice to customers in case of complaints and customer production problems in using the cans and ends. Work with Customer to establish and maintain can filling and seaming procedures, methods, facility, and equipment to meet Customer requirements and industry requirements.
  • Work with Customers to design and conduct regular quality checks/audits at the customer filling line(s) to support Customer’s plant requirements where required.
  • Handle all Customer quality complaints promptly and professionally and ensure that prompt and appropriate corrective actions are taken internally by working closely with cross-functional department.
  • Establish and maintain customer relation program(s) in related to plant matters of quality.
  • Assist in QA regular process audits to ensure that the quality procedures are complied by production, engineering and Warehousing teams.
  • Assist in providing analytical method or conduct analysis on internal and customer quality problems, defective materials, and claims, to advise plant management and manufacturing department on the results of such analysis and coordinate action plan.
  • Assist in providing recommendations to production and other operations department regarding improvement on product quality. Assist in coordinating with all functions on problem solving and product quality improvement where required.
  • Coordinate with the Commercial department and conduct new product test pack. Provide timely update of results to the commercial department.
  • Co-ordinate with customers on complaint investigation, sorting of filled cans and supervising when necessary.
  • Co-ordinate with customer and Commercial on new material, down gauging, new backup source trial and requirements.
  • To work with Crown regional office regarding technical information, trends and rendering of services to Customers as and when necessary.
  • To assist in plant preparation for all Customer and quality certification audit.
  • Do regular meetings of Corrective Action to resolve customer complaints with related parties, such as QA, Production, Engineering, Warehouse and Supply Chain.
  • Perform individual assignments as Management may direct, such as internal or external training to relevant parties.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Engineering graduate or Higher Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Chemical / Food Technology Engineering.
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in engineering supervisory role in Cambodia Brewing Industry, knowledge of filling lines, 2pc
  • can making process and ends making process.
  • Experience in customer technical service and direct customer support.
  • Team player who can work with other team members.
  • Not suffer from blindness nor acrophobic.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage.
