Responsibilities and Duties
- Plan and conduct lab & line tests (adhesion, warping, surface quality).
- Track defects; propose process/recipe improvements (glue mix, temps, pressure, dwell time).
- Collaborate with Production on trial runs; document SOP adjustments.
- Prepare weekly R&D dashboards and reports for MD/Chairwoman.
- Support supplier sample evaluations (laminate, adhesives, substrates).
- Maintain R&D records (test logs, CoAs, change history).
Qualifications and Skills
- ≥ 3 years experience in R&D within wood-based panels / decorative boards or adjacent fields (e.g., MDF/HDF, plywood, laminates, PVC foam board, adhesives, coatings).
- Hands-on product testing, formulation/process trials, defect analysis, and documentation.
- Familiar with hot press / cold press / PUR processes (advantage).
- Strong coordination with Production & QA; able to run shop-floor trials.
- Solid reporting (test plans, trial results, corrective actions).
- Khmer required; English working level preferred.
