Job Summary
- To perform testing as per the requested test method within time limits
Responsibilities and Duties
- Review the samples received for any abnormalities before begin the testing.
- Review the worksheet provided for any missing information before begin the testing.
- Prepare the sample and perform the testing precisely as per the requested test method.
- Ensure the proper working of test equipments before begin the testing
- Monitoring, controlling and recording of environmental condition
- Arrange the periodic calibration, intermediate checks and maintenance of equipments under the responsibility.
- Maintain good house keeping in the working area
- Comply with QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety and Environment) policies and Code of Integrity.
- Comply with the laboratory quality policy and quality management system.
- Maintain the good records of all testing works.
- Ensure all testing works and tasks asssigned by Lab Manager/Supervisor completed within time limits
- Validate the in-house methods before provding service to customer.
- Follow the defined QC practices and report to Lab Supervisor immediately in case of non-conformities.
- Report to Lab Supervisor immediately in case of any malfunctions observed.
- Assist Lab Supervisor in training as and when required.
- Keep all information confidential
- Qualified Test Engineer or Assitant Test Engineer is the deputy for the above position
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor Degree or Diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in testing jobs is preferred.
- Basic knowledge in Science
- Good analytical skills
- Attention to details
- Laboratory skills
- Communication skill
