Responsibilities and Duties
- To do risk assessment for new styles.
- To set up & finalize material cutting standard before factory start bulk cutting.
- To monitor the production process for Tory Burch Products in factory.
- To ensure all products shipped meets buyer approvals and requirements.
- To conduct in line and final inspection according to AQL standard before shipment delivery.
- To ensure the vendor complies with TB QA protocol surrounding complete QA file , tagged and approved sample, Testing, performance and colour approvals should all be in place prior to production starting.
- To attend all critical pp meetings, this is a must on any new styles and at the QA Managers discretion on others.
- To Provide Technical support to factories for on-site problem solving.
- To report any deviations to the next level of QA management should there be nonconformance’s on product , this also applies on safety and compliance issues
- To keep cross functional parties, TB Merchants, raw material team and the factory fully informed on delivery issues as early as possible.
- To work as part of a team and set up regular communication lines with other parties
- To follow TB guidelines on honesty and receiving gifts
Qualifications and Skills
- Educated to ordinary degree level
- 8 years minimum experience in QA for Handbags & Small Leather Goods
- English language skills both written and aural to an advanced standard
- Knowledge of process control, come up solution for problem solving if required
- Knowledge of risk assessment technique
- Knowledge of handbags manufacturing techniques
- Knowledge of handbags processes and SOPS
- Must be honest and of good character
- Able to travel within Philippine and sometimes internationally
- PC literate , Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
- Able to travel to Vietnam or Philippines factories to support the inspection.
