Line Manager: Boarding School 2 Director

Working hours: 40h/week (evenings and nights during the week, Monday to Friday from 5pm-7am)

Main missions

Under the supervision of the boarding school Directors, the dorm monitor ensures the supervision of the students and the organization of the daily life at the boarding school.

Ensure the students follow-up :

• Supervise the students attendance and signal the missing students to the direction
• Participate to the supervision of students' entries and departures (daily/weekly)
• Monitor the respect of rules and apply sanctions when necessary
• Monitor the usage of electronic devices (computers, phones, TV)
• Participate to the organization of the community's daily life and dorm activities (talks, movies, workshops etc.)
• Produce oral reports to the direction and support them in the elaboration of new decisions for the boarding school

Support the Directors in their communication:

• Facilitate the communication between the directors and the students
• Assist the directors in the communication with students’ families
• Provide guidance for daily life at the dorm with a focus on health and well-being (hygiene etc.)
• Facilitate the communication between the directors and the cleaning team

And any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

• Previous experience in education or social work
• Previous experience or interest in NGO is preferred
• Fluency in Khmer and in English or in Khmer and in French
• Organizational skills
• Good communication with teenagers and young adults
• Interest in education and women empowerment
• Adaptability and ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Good work ethics
