Job Summary
- Lead the partner factories / key material suppliers in rolling out, implementation and management of QIP system.
- Collaboration with QA team on evaluating QIP performance of partner factories.
- Work with functional departments and/or factories/suppliers on special projects/initiatives related with quality management and quality improvement.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide training and coaching to partner factories on QIP implementation and improvement.
- Cooperate with QA team to conduct quarterly QIP audit and evaluate the performance of partner factories, including annual QIP audit.
- Provide training and coaching to key T2 suppliers on QIP implementation.
- Work with functional departments and/or factories/suppliers on special projects/initiatives related with quality management and quality improvement.
- Consolidate quality data to better implement data-driven quality improvement. Summarize quality KPI to identify T1 supplier quality performance in Deckers Vendor Scorecard.
- Support the company wide quality related event on documentation and preparation.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree on Management, Engineering, quality management
- Quality management related certificate is a plus, e.g., FMEA.
- Minimum of 3 years footwear industry working experience
- Strong background in quality control, quality assurance.
- knowledge of quality management, 8D, QC tools, FMEA, …
- Hands on ability and proactive attitude
- Quick learner
- Proficiency in using office software, such as PowerPoint, Visio, Xmind, Project…
- Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
