Job Summary

The Managing Director is responsible for building, leading, and scaling the Cambodia entity with a strong focus on commercial growth, sales execution, and profitability.

This role combines entrepreneurial leadership with hands-on operational management in a start-up-like environment (~10 employees), where the MD is accountable for establishing the company structure, driving market penetration, and ensuring sustainable business performance.

A significant focus of the role is to drive sales growth and service business expansion, while ensuring effective coordination of supply chain and service delivery within a regional/matrix organization.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Lead, develop, and manage the company to ensure sustainable growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
  • Drive order intake and extend the customer base by applying targeted sales strategies and excellent customer relationship management.
  • Oversee field service operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify market trends, economic developments, and risks, providing input for strategy development and implementing countermeasures.
  • Ensure effective coordination of local and regional/global supply chains to secure LCS part delivery, manage constraints and proactively mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Oversee all financial activities, including monthly/quarterly/year-end statements, IFRS reporting, forecasts, cash flow budgeting, and Profit Center Calculation (PCC).
  • Ensure compliance with local law, tax regulations, transfer pricing rules, and corporate governance; serve as primary contact for auditors, tax authorities, banks, and insurance partners.
  • Implement and improve internal control systems (ICS) and risk management processes, ensuring alignment with HQ requirements.
  • Represent the company in all public, legal, and commercial matters, ensuring legitimacy and compliance of business operations.
  • Lead and develop the management team and workforce, ensuring a motivating, high-performance culture and effective people management.
Qualifications and Skills

Job Specific Education

  • Requires master's degree level
  • Preferably in technical or economic degree (technical college, university, master) or well- founded knowledge of engineering and business management acquired in another manner Experience (in years)

Position requires more than 10 years of experiences

Technical Skills

  • Corporate strategy development & implementation
  • P&L responsibility, financial management & cash flow steering
  • Regulatory & compliance knowledge (labour law, tax, customs, social security)
  • Risk analysis & mitigation
  • ERP system know-how & strong controlling/analytics skills
  • Operational management (Sales, After Sales/LCS, Engineering, Finance/Admin, IOS)
  • Market trend analysis & business development
  • Matrix leadership & intercultural coordination
  • Infrastructure & facility management oversight
