Responsibilities and Duties
- Leading, coaching & mentoring the QC team & ensuring highest product quality.
- Cross functional coordination with Purchasing & Sales on raw material quality
- Be a team member to ensure GMP, Safety and Quality in the entire factory.
- Implement, maintain, & improve quality systems e.g. BRC, ISO 9001:2015, GMP, HACCP, Halal, Kosher, Organic, Fairtrade & Gluten free.
- Join in-house and external audits (local raw material suppliers) to ensure proper quality.
- Assisting all internal and external audits such as BRC, SEDEX, GMP, HACCP, Halal, Kosher, Organic, Fairtrade, Gluten free, etc.
- Assist in customer interactions appropriately (complaints, questionnaire, etc).
- Implement, verify and maintain updated in-scope documentation; Quality manual (QM), Quality procedure (QP), Support document (SD), Work instruction (WI), Form (FM), etc.
- Other tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, Food Technology, Argo-Industry or related fields.
- 8-10+ years of QC experience.
- Experience with GMP/HACCP/BRC/HALAL preferred
- Good command of English (reading, writing and speaking skills) and Computer literacy.
- Analytical thinking, problem solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
