The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, inventory controls, supplier management, compliance, and cost optimization for beverage trading and distribution operations. The role ensures strong financial governance, efficient sourcing, timely reporting, and smooth supply chain coordination to support sales growth and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate should have experience in FMCG, beverage, liquor, wine & spirits, or distribution businesses, with strong knowledge of inventory-heavy operations and import processes.
Financial Management
- Manage daily accounting and finance operations of the company.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity requirements.
- Develop and manage company budgets and financial forecasts.
- Conduct profitability and cost analysis by brand, channel, and customer.
- Ensure timely bank reconciliations and financial closing.
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable aging.
- Implement financial controls and internal audit procedures.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with local import regulations, excise duties, and tax laws.
- Maintain proper financial and procurement documentation.
- Prepare management reports and KPI dashboards.
- Support licensing and regulatory renewals related to beverage distribution.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and SOPs.
Inventory & Warehouse Control
- Supervise inventory management for warehouses and distribution centers.
- Ensure accurate stock movement recording and periodic stock counts.
- Monitor damaged, expired, and slow-moving inventory.
- Implement inventory control systems for high-value beverage products.
- Coordinate with sales and warehouse teams for demand planning.
Team Management
- Lead finance, procurement, and inventory staff.
- Train and develop team capabilities.
- Establish performance KPIs and monitor team productivity.
- Foster coordination between finance, sales, logistics, and warehouse departments.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- ACCA, CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience in finance and procurement roles.
- Experience in FMCG, beverage, alcohol, or distribution industries preferred.
- Strong understanding of inventory accounting and import operations.
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of Cambodian tax regulations and procurement practices preferred.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills.
