Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform macroeconomic research to understand the broader economic environment and key trends that influence both local and regional markets.
- Perform industry / sector analysis to find out which sectors/ industries/ areas are targeted by investors. Use the deliverables of the research to identify investment opportunity areas.
- Perform specific company research and individual research to allow management team to make inform decision making for external business engagements.
- Conduct research and gather relevant information on the companyโs identified projects, deals or strategic themes, including but not limited to infrastructure, waste management, plantation, and other assignments as required.
- Support production of marketing materials such as investment teasers, investment deck, and other presentations as required by the company.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelorโs degree or higher, preferably in real estate, finance, economics, business management, or other relevant fields.
- Previous experience in market research or consultancy is preferred.
- Be numerically proficient, analytically strong, and articulate.
- To have strong interest in real estate sector, manufacturing sector, tourism sector, and financial sector.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other relevant tools such as Google Earth.
- Self-motivated and driven individual with a passion for excellence
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate needs and proactively manage task
- Excellent command of the English language is mandatory. Business Chinese fluency is highly advantageous
