Position: Junior Operations Officer
Reports To: Operations Manager
Overview:
The Junior Operations Officer role is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in logistics and freight forwarding. This position focuses on supporting the movement of goods efficiently, ensuring compliance with international standards, and delivering top-tier customer service. Ideal candidates are motivated learners with strong organizational skills and a passion for operational excellence.
Shipments Coordination:
- Prepare and manage import/export documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
- Adhere to customers' Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to meet specific requirements.
- Liaise with customers and overseas agents to ensure accurate and timely documentation exchange.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager.
Logistics System Management:
- Accurately update shipment information in logistics systems in a timely manner, following established guidelines.
Compliance and Regulations:
- Review customs clearance documents and coordinate the release of goods to vendors, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations.
Operational Efficiency:
- Collaborate with internal departments, including sales, finance, and warehouse teams, to ensure seamless operations and address any issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related industry is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is a must. Knowledge of Chinese is an advantage.
